The Silver Jubilee edition of Gujarat’s largest construction confluence with a global perspective - NIRMAN 2010, coincided with the completion of 50 years of Gujarat statehood. It was inaugurated by the eminent industrialist of Gujarat, Shri Karsanbhai Patel, Chairman, NIRMA Group, in the presence of Gujarat’s former Chief Secretary, Shri P K Laheri.

NIRMAN is a joint initiative of Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers & Architects (GICEA) and Akar InfoMedia Private Limited (AIM), Ahmedabad. The four-pronged event comprising exhibition, symposium, awards and art-show, was held at Ahmedabad from 17 to 20 September, 2010; and was very well received and appreciated by the exhibitors as well as visitors.
